Motorhome rental in Barcelona: where to pick it up
Our base is at Carrer Campoamor 12C, 08290 Cerdanyola del Vallès, about 20 minutes from central Barcelona via the C-58 and the AP-7. It is not an airport desk or an anonymous car park: we meet you in person, walk you through the motorhome without rushing, and you do not leave until you know how everything works.
Getting here by public transport
Cerdanyola del Vallès has two Renfe stations: Cerdanyola del Vallès (R4), with a direct connection from Barcelona-Sants and Plaça de Catalunya, and Cerdanyola Universitat (R7). From the airport, the R2 Nord line takes you to Sants, where you change to the R4. The whole journey takes about an hour.
Can I leave my car while I travel?
Yes, subject to availability. Many customers drive here, leave their car parked and set off in the motorhome. Let us know when you book and we will tell you the options.
Requirements: who can drive it
Age and licence
You need to be 25 or older and hold a category B licence held for at least 3 years. No special permit is required: both the Glamys 320 and the Tessoro T463 UP are driven on an ordinary car licence.
You can add extra drivers at no cost. We just need their ID and driving licence.
Deposit
A 900 € deposit is held before departure and released within 72 hours once the vehicle has been checked. It is a hold, not a charge.
How payment works
You pay 30 % to confirm the booking. The remaining 70 % is paid 24 hours before departure. We accept card and bank transfer.

Not included
Fuel, tolls, fines and cleaning if the vehicle comes back in poor condition. Real consumption is between 8 and 12 litres per 100 km, depending on the model and how you drive, so you can budget your trip without surprises.

Driving and overnight stays: what to know before leaving Barcelona
The Low Emission Zone does not affect your pick-up
Barcelona has a Low Emission Zone inside the Rondas ring roads, in force Monday to Friday, which requires an environmental sticker to drive through. It is the most common question we get.
The short answer: it does not affect you. Our base is in Cerdanyola del Vallès, outside the Low Emission Zone. You pick up the motorhome and head straight for the AP-7 or the C-58 without ever entering the restricted area.
If your route does take you through central Barcelona, get in touch before booking and we will confirm the driving conditions for the specific vehicle you will be taking. There are no restrictions for heading out to the Costa Brava, the Pyrenees or the rest of the country.
Where to sleep in the motorhome
You can stay overnight at motorhome service areas, campsites and authorised car parks. Catalonia has a wide network, particularly along the Costa Brava and in the Pyrenees. When we hand over the vehicle we share the apps we use ourselves and recommendations for the route you have in mind.
How to return it
With the grey water tanks empty, the chemical toilet emptied and clean and the fuel tank full. Interior and exterior cleaning is the customer’s responsibility. These are the standard terms in the sector and we explain all of them before you set off.
